Thank you so much for the training and the generosity of your rich abundant knowledge.
I had an awesome time it has a permanent mark in my life.
I wanted more experience as a teacher and to have more knowledge as a potential mom.
Now I’m excited for teaching pregnant women. I loved the training.
Everything was useful. If you want to be a mom or want to help moms on their journey, please take this training.
I would highly recommend taking this [training] even if you have absolutely no interest in teaching.
It’s just a great class to learn about the body and all the changes your body goes through.
The amount of knowledge that I got would be so valuable to so many women in this community and in the world.
The sense of warmth, community and support was extensive throughout. I also so enjoyed going through the training while pregnant – it really helped me to feel the postures’ benefits in my own body as we walked through them and all of the philosophies and themes really rang true for me.
I cannot wait to become a Certified Ma Yoga instructor!
What a wonderful experience and in two plus days my perspective has really shifted.
I came in simply to learn to be a better teacher to my pregnant students and left with a new appreciation for the birth process and for life in general.
I now see the beauty in both pregnancy and giving birth.
I would like to let you know that after completing the pre-natal teacher training, I not only feel more confident as a yoga teacher, but I also feel more comfortable as a woman.
I thank you for inspiring me to help women to feel more like themselves during pregnancy through the practice of yoga.
Thank you so much for an amazing & light-filled training!
It was tremendously helpful to engage with this material a second time, particularly after starting a prenatal class here.
I hope you can come back and do this again next year!
I feel like I got more out of this one training than I did out of my whole 200 hour training.
One of my personal goals as an instructor is to have authentic themes.
That said, I had a major break through last weekend. I am so grateful for the tools I was given to make my teaching more meaningful, and I have already began to incorporate what I learned into my sequences and class prep.
Not only was the training amazing in terms of education and instruction, but it was also so good for my mind and body.
I feel even more invested in teaching prenatal yoga.
I highly recommend Jessica’s prenatal training.
Her expertise and professionalism, combined with her compassion and experience, makes for an incredible learning experience for teachers, but also for pregnant women with advanced yoga practices.
I attended Jessica’s Pre-Natal Teacher Training and it was an invaluable addition to my alignment-based yoga education. She is clear, thorough, dynamic, and as the only male in the training … she made me feel so welcome and comfortable.
This training allows teachers of all levels to feel more confident when a pregnant student steps into their classroom.
Jessica Jennings is a treasure. her skill, enthusiasm and sensitivity as a yoga teacher combined with her knowledge of all things Birth –before, during and after — make jessica truly unique.
Attending her prenatal teacher training was inspiring and made me want to learn more and more! this workshop is important for us as women (and man – Danny!) and as yoga teachers.
Before your teacher training, I always focused on telling students what not to do. On Tuesday night, I had 2 pregnant women in class! It was fantastic. I felt like the few minutes before class was very liberating for them, because we focused on how we could modify poses and what they could do.
They both did full practices that night and were able to practice safely at the same time. It was awesome!
This was my second Prenatal TT with Jessica. Jessica shares her knowledge with such grace that after the first one, I was equipped to begin teaching the week following my first workshop.
A year later, another training with Jessica gave me additional teaching tools. I left with a deepening understanding of how we can help pregnant women use their yoga practice to move their bodies from a place of strength and beauty.
Being post-menopausal, I had reservations about taking Jessica’s Prenatal training initially, but it truly was one of the best gifts I’ve ever given myself.
I feel a renewed sense of awe for all women, including myself.
Thank you Jessica for a wonderfully informative and moving experience!
I learned so much in the workshop about prenatal yoga and pregnancy, but I felt that most important thing was about myself and my own feelings about pregnancy and childbirth (that I never really realized i had.
I liked your softer style combined with clarity, humor, and humility.
I came to “add something” to my teaching and what I received just blew me away…I am humbled by the creative force and beauty of nature and how the principles truly support this so clearly. This is the place I want to move from in my practice and in my life!
This was just what I needed and did not even know and I walk away with deep connection and great trust in what I am doing.
Thank you so much for offering and teaching your prenatal TT. It was invaluable. I taught my class today with a newfound sense of knowledge and confidence. Your essence stayed with me and infused my thoughts and actions.
Thank you, thank you. If the timing is right I will take it again, that’s how much I enjoyed it.
Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into this training, and for the Certification program in general.
I came home feeling excited and ready to insert the elements into my own way of teaching.
I’m looking forward to the next time we get to spend together expanding our minds and hearts further.
If there is one person in the community of yoga that I recommend to people for prenatal yoga and prenatal yoga trainings, it is Jessica. I have taken Jessica’s prenatal training several times and have found it to be not only informative but inspiring.
Jessica demystifies the misinformation about prenatal yoga, and inspires women to listen to themselves and their baby and to honor this unique and special time.
Thanks again for such a great teacher training.
It was so wonderful to see both of my passions, yoga and Obstetrics, come to life together. I learned a great deal from you!
My classes have a new flow of energy this week from this process!
Truly, you are a gift. Your insight, knowledge, wisdom and pure love for the work flows through in a tremendously positive way.
It was a wonderful training and I feel I have learned so much that I can take out into the world with me and share.
I really enjoyed the prenatal yoga training. It was very practical and spiritual at the same time.
I loved that it touched on the fundamentals of alignment and how to intertwine with theming.
The Yoga of Pregnancy deepened my teaching techniques. I learned about bringing space, earth, water, fire, and air in the body, mind, and heart.
Based on this I can teach easily. It’s fun!
This prenatal training helped me connect more deeply with my femininity and my practice. The information was presented in a clear, soft and useful way, and it inspired me to dive deeper not only into pregnancy yoga but into myself, my body, my practice and my teaching.
Thank you Jessica for sharing your wisdom and energy and for opening new doors for women to explore their pregnancy in a safe and creative way!
The training was absolutely beautiful and inspiring. Your email came in just as I was creating a new sequence to teach to my new Mommies tomorrow morning, incorporating the inspirational movements and techniques that we learned.
I do not know where the path may lead for me in prenatal in the future, but I do know that I love teaching it, and now feel even more confident and inspired.
There are few other times in my life when I have felt so alive and inspired as I did during those three days. I cried many times in that class, tears of pure joy and wonder. I have known for a long time that yoga is my path, but it wasn’t until this prenatal training that I realized that prenatal yoga is my path within my path 😉
Jessica reached out to every one of us with compassion and warmth, and we learned so much.
We were in excellent hands with her!
I was 8 months pregnant when I took Jessica’s prenatal teacher training and was so happy to find (finally) a prenatal program that reflected my experience – that my body was still capable and it wanted to practice.
She has incredible respect for pregnancy and her intelligent alignment notes proved helpful to me in labor–internal rotation plus external rotation = more space for baby–even when he is moments away from greeting the world!
Until I took your training in June/2009 I didn’t understand how to integrate [therapeutic alignment] into my prenatal yoga classes…
Through your course my understanding of theming has deepened so much… I love how you shared with us how you set a theme for your day & how you use your personal daily theme for your classes… You gave me a lot.
I wanted to thank you for [The Yoga of Pregnancy]. It was such an amazing experience for me because I was reminded of my passion and purpose.
Yesterday, I was so excited to apply what I have learned and left class feeling so empowered because I used my theme for a regular vinyasa class. It was so intense and amazing!
I can’t wait for your future trainings and to be involved in this process. Thank you so much again for your love, power, and wisdom!
I had a wonderful experience – it was definitely more than I imagined it to be. [The Yoga of Pregnancy] really helped me to look at yoga in a different way. I walked away with new tools and principles that I can use on myself and others.
I’m excited to review all of the material and to start putting what I learned to use immediately. I really appreciate being able to download the handouts, it’s nice to be able to revisit the handouts in the Member area.
Thank you for supporting us yet gently encouraging us to see our edge and approach it with love, grace and fierceness!
Take it! You will not regret it!
This training felt like it went above and beyond. There is way more to prenatal yoga than just the do’s and don’ts.
Jessica is an amazing instructor that has put a lot of thought and care into the program.
I must say I am loving the course with you. You are an amazing teacher and mentor and I am so grateful you were brought in my life.
I thought I would just learn about pregnancy yoga, but instead I have deepened my own practice and reignited my love of yoga.
I cannot wait to speak with moms to be and get a feel for how their pregnancy is going and share some helpful tips that I learned.
Jess did an amazing job with the online teaching. I loved it!
The Yoga of Pregnancy is a wonderful course that you will benefit from it whether you are pregnant or not. I strongly recommend it.
If you have any questions regarding the poses or what it is being taught in the course the instructor really dives in so you can get a better understanding of it.
I just taught my first prenatal workshop and I wasn’t nervous at all.
I told my husband I felt sooo prepared! It went really well and I loved it.
Since taking the Ma Yoga Prenatal & Postnatal teacher training with Jessica, my whole approach to yoga and my own personal journey has evolved. The teachings of the five sacred steps have offered me a new way to connect to all the elements and how they relate to us as human beings.
My emotional, physical & spiritual bodies all feel richly supported by these teachings. I am a stronger leader, mentor and human being from these practices.
This is a fun training! Thanks Jess!
I appreciate the extra videos SO much and have found them so useful.
I’ve been taking notes and also practicing along with them.
I’m gearing up for my third trimester in a couple of weeks and so this has been really helpful to have these tools and information.
Thanks so much for this training, Jessica!
I hope to finish all the practices and videos soon, but I’ll be coming back to this page every week to work on them little by little until I’ve watched every one.
I incorporate the poses we learned into my normal vinyasa classes and my students love them!
I am so beyond excited to be on this journey with you and cannot wait to teach the mommas!
I loved your joy, your passion, your knowledge.
I really appreciated how you commented on our teachings .
You were respectful, positive and uplifting.
I now have a road map for creating a full prenatal class, vs. just picking and choosing poses I think pregnant students can do comfortably.
I just want to express gratitude again. Deep bows!
I have truly enjoyed the training so much and can’t wait to start teaching prenatal.
I tried to use our new cues in the regular class that I taught this morning and using them felt great!
I never taught yoga before, after jouning the YOP, I am more confident to help other mothers to have a better understanding of their bodies during each trimester and how to make use of yoga to reduce the pain during this lovely journey.
I am more focused today on my mental and physical health, thanks to you Jessica. I am meditating regularly and doing yoga daily. It feels very relaxing and enlightening.
I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience and gratitude with us. Not many people get the importance of sharing their knowledge! I am thankful and grateful to you and to the universe which led me to your website.
I did the YOP on-demand.
This course will give you the confidence you need to teach prenatal yoga.
I already feel 100x’s more confident teaching prenatal yoga and I’m really only getting started with the program!
I really love the concept of 5 sacred steps – it’s not a daunting “don’t do this/do this” list of poses but a checklist to ensure I am confident in practice that I’m leading pregnant women through.
No – some teaching background helps, but core alignment and birth education are taught from the ground up.
Forever – revisit anytime to integrate new teachings into your work.
Absolutely. In fact, in some ways it’s easier for if you don’t have built-in assumptions based on your own experience. You’re just guiding your students to their own inner wisdom.
