What People Say About Ma Yoga

Rasha A.
I took a class with Haley, and I would like to do it again. It was relaxing and calming after a busy day, even with my daughter around. Thank you, Hayley.
Shadman H..
I felt taken care of during Daho’s class! I wanted to learn how she teaches pregnancy yoga and that is what we did. She had a soothing voice and clear directions with encouragements. She gave me pointers on how to modify poses for pregnancy. I felt inspired to continue learning.
Kim S.
My first class with Daho was excellent! I really enjoyed using the block in a variety of ways from on the mat to the wall and in a chair. I also learned a new way of standing up from h/k’s on the mat using the blocks so they are keeping the legs hugging in and protecting the pubic symphysis.
Geetanjali D.
Loved my first class with Instructor Daho! Im in the third trimester and I have severe pelvic floor pain. Daho took time to understand my pain points and targeted postures and asanas that will help relieve my pain. She kept checking on me throughout the session to make sure I was comfortable and doing ok.
Jessea W.
Angela's class was so nice and made me feel more centered with great use of her cueing!
Xu H.
My teacher was professional, kind, and super patient! As a mom-to-be, I get anxious so easily, and had some tech issue with my camera when first joining. She was just so kind, caring and also altered some of the poses considering my weak knee and kept checking on me to see if I am comfortable. I really enjoyed it and would love to join the Ma family 🙂
Belinda J.

Heather demonstrates poses so that it is easy to follow her instructions; she also checks closely to see that I am in the correct position on the mat to receive the maximum benefit for my body. Stretching, flexibility, and balance are all benefits of Yoga that are emphasized in this class. Easy to see that Heather enjoys teaching her love of Yoga to others!!

Meet Jessica, Founder of Ma Yoga

I created Ma Yoga after years of teaching prenatal yoga and witnessing consistent transformation in my students. When we feel supported physically, mentally, and emotionally, we move from anxious and uncomfortable to grounded, calm, and open.

The root “ma” means “mother” in many languages – and also what is most wise and powerful. Ma Yoga is rooted in learning to care for ourselves with that same kind of attention, so we can access our inner wisdom at every stage of life.

Pregnancy invites us to slow down and listen – but you don’t have to be pregnant to benefit from this work.

Ma Yoga offers simple practices that help you navigate change with more ease and strength, so you can show up fully for your life.

I’m so glad you’re here. 💛
